Counselling for young people
Nowadays there are often huge pressures placed on young people which can have a detrimental effect on their mental health.
Whilst schools and CAMHS can offer support, for some this can be difficult to access.
I have worked in a number of secondary schools helping young people explore issues such as family and friendship issues, bereavement, bullying, exam stress, gender identity, self harm, low mood and anxiety.
Sometimes young people feel unable to open up to those closest to them so speaking to an independent person can be of real benefit.
